Please note that each patient needs a separate appointment.
Are the best way of dealing with the majority of problems. You have full control over who you see and at what time of the day. Since you can make an appointment with specific clinicians you will be able to develop trust in your doctor and reach a satisfying solution faster than being seen repeatedly at an urgent appointment. If you want to discuss a particularly complex problem or a number of problems, you can ask for a double appointment.
We would always recommend that you make your appointments with your preferred GP even if that means you have to wait a little longer for your appointment. Your preferred GP is likely to know you well and should be able to come up with a satisfactory solution to your problem a lot faster.
You should ask for an urgent appointment on the day if you experience a sudden change in your health or if you feel quite unwell. If your condition requires urgent medical attention, we will always see you the same day. If no urgent appointments are bookable online, please phone reception.
Please contact as early in the day as possible if you have an urgent problem. Urgent appointments are only available on the day. You cannot book an urgent appointment in advance.
Please do not ask for or book an urgent appointment if you could wait for a routine appointment.
Home visits are for patients who are unable to travel to the surgery. Home visits are usually done between 11AM and 3PM Home visits for the day should be booked before 10.30 in the morning.
Please do not ask for a home visit if you could travel to the surgery or somebody could bring you along.
Please phone reception to arrange a home visit. If your problem is urgent, we will always see you on that day.
