Drug and Alcohol Services

If you are struggling with a drug or alcohol problem the first place to go is to Turning Point Scotland. They run drop in clinics Tuesday afternoons from 1pm-4pm in the NE Neighbourhood Centre on Niddrie Mains Road. No appointment needed.

They provide harm reduction advice, medical treatments, counselling and other support for those on their recovery journey.

The Bothy

Founded in 2023 a stones throw from the medical centre The Bothy offers a place to connect and speak with people and find support in the recovery process. Run by volunteers who have lived experience in addiction it offers a medical free space and is a great starting point on the road to recovery. Visit Let The People Sing for more information.
